Your team
You will directly work with Felix, one of Skilllab co-founders leads the internal operations team. Furthermore, you will cooperate with:
- Tais (People Operations Coordinator and Office Manager) to support the organization of our autumn company-offsite and winter company day
- Rwitu (HR Business Partner) to support our Q3 performance management cycle
- Elsa (Recruitment & People Operations Specialist) in various ad-hoc recruitment tasks.
Other people that make up the internal operations team include Tanya (Finance Generalist) and Halvor (Information Security & Data Privacy). As the internal ops team we ensure the smooth running of SkillLab as an organization and support SkillLabers.

Your impact
- You will support Felix, Tais, Elsa and Rwitu in their work. Through supporting smaller tasks, you will get an insight into event organization, hiring, performance management and other HR topics etc.
- You will manage your own projects (e.g. supporting our team leadership development, writing blogposts for our website, or doing desk research to find external suppliers for different needs etc).
Your skills
- You are a generalist with a strong interest in learning about how to run people operations for a technology company.
- No prior work experience or relevant study are needed.
- You value attention to detail and have a passion for creating exceptional experiences.
- You are a team player but at the same time you can work independently and prioritize your work.
Extra awesome
- You have prior internship / work experience or university / volunteering projects related to people operations / HR.
- You are currently enrolled as a student or graduated within the last 12 months.
- You are eligible to work in the Netherlands. We don’t support visa applications for applicants from outside the EU.
- You are able to commit to a six-month full-time (40 hour/week) internship.
Compensation, start-date & location
- This is a paid internship. The monthly reimbursement will be 1.000 EUR.
- We are looking for candidate who live in Amsterdam and can commit to office attendance at least three days per week.
- We accept applications on rolling basis and we envision a start date in September 2025.

- You will join our bi-annual company offsite retreats in different locations like Belgium, the Netherlands etc.
Our selection procedure
- You apply for the role and we review your profile.
- We will invite you for a short screening call.
- We will invite you for a 60min interview if we find that you are a good fit. The interview will involve you preparing a short assignment.
- We will offer you the internship and discuss logistics, if we think that you are the ideal candidate for the role.
