Your opportunity

• You will experience the culture of a technology start-up and work in an international environment with SkillLabers from 30+ countries.
• You will create an impact on SkillLab by bringing people together in our company off-sites and other events.
• You will work closely with the Internal Operations team, as well as other functions when needed.
• You will gain hands-on experience in event organization and people ops workflows in a tech company of 65+ people.

Your team

You will directly work with Felix, one of Skilllab co-founders who leads the internal operations team.

You will cooperate with Tais to organize our spring company-offsite. Tais is as our People Operations Coordinator and Office Manager, organizing company-wide retreats, cultural events & managing the office.

Other people that make up the internal operations team is Rwitu, our HR Business Partner, Elsa our Recruitment & People Operations Specialist, Tanya as our Finance Generalist and Halvor who manages Information Security & Data Privacy at SkillLab. As the internal ops team we ensure the smooth running of SkillLab as an organisation and support our beloved SkillLabers.

Your impact

• You will support the organization of our spring and autumn company off-sites, summer company day and other events in our office (e.g. researching and organizing restaurants and/or catering options, supporting logistics, helping with agenda & fun activities etc.
• You will contribute to a variety people operations projects (E.g. finding creative ways that SkillLabers deepen their personal relationships with each other, supporting our team leadership development, or doing desk research to find external suppliers).

Your skills

• You have an interest in event organisation and planning. No prior work experience or relevant study are needed.
• You value attention to detail and have a passion for creating exceptional experiences.
• You are a team player but at the same time you can work independently and prioritise your work.

Extra awesome

• You have prior internship / work experience or university / volunteering projects related to event organisation.
• You are a Dutch speaker.
