How you will make an impact

As a Control Room Operator, you are responsible for safely and successfully conducting tests with our Iron Fuel Production facility in Arnhem. From the control room, you oversee the production process, monitor key parameters, and report reliable test results according to operational procedures. The Control Room Operator is part of an enthusiastic and diverse team that strives for collaborative success.

What you do as a Control Room Operator

• Conduct tests at the Iron Fuel Production facility in Arnhem, monitoring the production process from the control room and taking action in case of deviations.
• Ensure clear written documentation before, during, and after tests, including accurate reporting to the Process Development Engineer.
• Perform minor maintenance, detect malfunctions, and provide technical support in identifying the cause; based on this, you will make proposals for improvements.
• Proactively contribute to the HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) performance of the team, by focussing on giving and receiving positive feedback.
• Interpret product and process results to suggest improvements for the installation and procedures.
• Provide support to the Lead Operator and replace him/her in case of absence.
