About the Role
As an IT Support Specialist at OpenUp, you will ensure the seamless operation of our infrastructure and digital tools. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, working closely with our Product Manager and Developers to provide solutions. Your role will involve maintaining system security, troubleshooting IT problems, and supporting colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
You will oversee and manage a range of tools and systems, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 Workspace, Unifi, Praktijkdata, Bitwarden, Zendesk, LiveChat, Voys, and Wire, as well as custom applications like our own OpenUp Dashboard. You will also:
- Provide IT support to employees and clients, troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ensure smooth system operations, proactively resolving IT challenges.
- Track, manage, and communicate IT issues, acting as the first point of contact.
- Oversee company assets and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
- Enhance digital security and educate colleagues on security policies.
- Support the Office Manager with IT setup for new locations.
- Collaborate with the Product team to implement and improve systems.
- Continuously identify and implement IT process improvements.
About You

- Strong foundational knowledge of various computer systems and IT tools.

- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Desire to grow in an IT role and continuously develop your technical skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new digital tools and systems.
- Fluent in English. (Dutch is a nice to have)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT or digital support role.
- Comfortable working in high-pressure environments which require a calm, solution-oriented mindset.
