Your role

Media & buffer preparation and timely preparation and provision of materials & reagents on demand.

Equipment maintenance & calibration, setting up the bioreactors and preparing the equipment needed for a production run.

Support the process engineers in small to large scale USP, sampling and monitoring of the processes. Providing input in troubleshooting problems and documentation of the activities.

Hands-on involvement in supporting cell harvesting and downstream processing as required to produce meat and fat tissue.

Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the pilot and production facility by keeping the pilot facility/lab clean and organized.

Our ideal future team member

A Bachelor degree (would be nice to have but not necessarily required) in Biotechnology/LifeSciences/Engineering or have a technical college education and 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role.

>1 year of experience in a lab based or pilot/production facility role.

Experience with aseptic preparation of media.

At least familiar with cell proliferation methodologies. Experience with mammalian cell culture is highly desirable.

Experience with bioreactor operations and familiar with single use technologies is highly desirable.

Eye for detail.

Passion for organisation.

Ability to multi-task and to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

A hardworking, proactive and flexible team-player.

Good verbal and written communication skills. Fully business proficient in English.

Ability to commence soon and permission to work in the EU (desirable).
