The Role
We are looking for a Junior Chemical Process Operator to join our Etching Process Team. In
this role, you’ll take ownership of operating, monitoring, and maintaining chemical
production equipment and processes in a safe manner. This role ensures silicon materials
are processed according to established procedures, quality standards, and safety
regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor our chemical processing and milling line
- Perform routine sampling, testing and analysis to ensure product quality
- Record operational data, equipment readings, and production results accurately
- Identify and troubleshoot process deviations or equipment malfunctions
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety rules and environmental regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement
projects - Perform maintenance and assist in equipment cleaning
What we’re looking for
Education & Experience
- MBO level 3 or equivalent in Process Technology (VAPRO B)
- Knowledge of the English language is required
Preferred (not required)
- Experienced in working with corrosive chemicals
- Experience as a process operator in the chemical or petrochemical industry
Personal qualities
- Safety awareness and attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Adaptability to changing production demands
- Capable of wearing required PPE such as respirators, dust masks and chemicalresistant clothing
- Comfortable performing physical work as part of your daily tasks
